Convocation is the official campus welcome for new students to the University. It celebrates the importance of academic excellence, innovation, integrity and discovery—all of the things that make up the ultimate university experience. Featured presenters, such as BGSU President Dr. Rodney K. Rogers and other academic and student leaders, will share their insights to empower you to explore and appreciate the values of belonging at BGSU. Be curious and find your people at one of the largest events during Weeks of Welcome. Campus Fest is where you discover ways to enhance your BGSU experience. An annual fair that features over 300+ student organizations, local merchants, community partners and University offices at display tables spanning the entire BTSU Quad. TIP: Give yourself a lot of time to explore. This event is perfect for getting familiar with the heart of campus. After the State of the University Address, enjoy a free lunch together with fellow students, faculty and staff members at the All-Campus Picnic!  Join us on the Bowen-Thompson Quadrangle for delicious food and fun activities.
