I signed up to attend the event as a student who needed to complete a paper on a school event. Once I was done with classes and went to the Student Union, I was confused on where to go. Once I found the different rooms for this event, there were just all people in suits and didn't look as if any of them were students. I was confused on where to go, who to talk to and so I left the event. I thought the event would be open to anyone on campus, but seemed as if it were just a business event.

I think the event was really great and something different. I was not aware of the cherry blossoms in BG and was very excited to learn about them and a different culture.

As a second year attendee of the TEDxBGSU event, I am confident in saying that this event is one of the most powerful that BGSU hosts. The speakers are always phenomenal and so enlightening. However, I would recommend altering the ticket system, so that there is a more likely chance that the seats will be filled. I am unaware of what the solution is, but it is a shame to see empty seats during such a wonderful event.

It was well organized. My brothers loved all the blow ups. We had a great time and looking forward to next year.

Colin did a great job of presenting information that is usually on the more dull side in an engaging way. Students were laughing, listening, and really taking in the information, and I think it was a fantastic opportunity.

Dr. Earle is arguably the best spokesperson for our blue planet! She enthralled a huge audience at BGSU, the crew had to break out many extra chairs to accomodate the crowd, who gave the scientific treasure a standing ovation.
