Wild Northwest Ohio: Art and Awareness Exhibit

A Regional Art Exhibition Inspired by Nature Wild Northwest Ohio brings together three artists whose work explores the ecosystems, wildlife and changing landscapes of Northwest Ohio. Through photography, mixed-media painting and printmaking, the exhibition highlights the beauty and fragility of the region’s natural world while asking viewers to consider their role in environmental stewardship. This exhibition is ideal for those interested in environmental art, conservation, climate awareness, native species and regional artists. Featured Artists Lee Fearnside, photographer Fearnside documents Northwest Ohio’s wildlife areas and landscapes shaped by human activity. Her photography examines how development, agriculture and everyday choices affect fragile ecosystems. Barbara WF Miner, mixed-media painter Drawing from daily walks in local fields and forests, Miner creates layered works built through stencil, pattern and color. Her paintings evoke complex biomes and explore the deep interconnection between humans and the environments they inhabit. Kathy McGhee, printmaker McGhee approaches nature through close observation. Using animals, landscapes and symbolic objects, her prints prompt reflection on how we perceive and internalize the natural world. Making Your Course Accessible with UDOIT

Join our hands-on working session to use UDOIT (Universal Design Online Inspection Tool) to scan your Canvas course for accessibility issues and quickly implement fixes. We will walk through interpreting UDOIT errors and practice remediation techniques. Plan on using a course you’re actively teaching (or preparing) so you leave with real progress and plan to keep your content accessible going forward.  Why you should attend:  Run a course scan to find potential accessibility issues.   Evaluate a UDOIT report, distinguishing errors, suggestions, and non‑issues, and prioritizing items that most impact learner access.  Apply accessibility remediations to course content. Discuss strategies for implementing a check‑and‑fix process to increase course accessibility score and meet compliance requirements.   To register for this event, use the Spring 2026 CFE-Facilitated Session Registration Form.  Advance registration is required.
