The Wellness Connection is sponsoring numerous events this week to provide education and resources to the BG community. Stop by any event this week and receive a red ribbon to wear. Fraternity and Sorority Life: The campter with the highest percentage of attendance during this week's events receives a $100 gift cart towards their philanthropy. Lost Dreams, Lost Hopes, Lost Loves, Lost Lives Quilt Exhibition

Immigrant Ohio 2018 presents "Lost Dreams, Lost Hopes, Lost Loves, Lost Lives," an exhibition of quilts made by the Migrant Quilt Project of Tucson, Arizona. The quilts are on display at the Ray and Pat Browne Popular Culture Library, 4th floor of the William T. Jerome Library. The exhibition, open Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., is free and open to the public. The exhibition is sponsored by the Stoddard O'Neill Fund, School of Cultural and Critical Studies. A.L.I.C.E. Training

The BGSU Police are offering special A.L.I.C.E. training sessions Nov. 27 and 28 to ensure students, faculty and staff are prepared for an unlikely event involving a violent intruder. Participants will learn how to take an active role in their own safety by using A.L.I.C.E. (Alert, Lockdown, Counter, Inform, Evacuate) techniques. Instructors will go over these concepts in detail in an effort to prepare and empower members of the campus community should a violent intruder incident occur. They will also discuss mental and physical tools that could play a vital role in an incident. BGSU Police will offer two sessions Nov. 27: 10:30 a.m. in the Bowen-Thompson Student Union Theater (Room 206) and 7 p.m. in 314 Union. Sessions will also be held at 8:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. Nov. 28 in 206 Union. Each session will be the same; participants should pick a session that best fits their schedule. Each session will last about 90 minutes. Registration is not required.

Accessibility and Content Creation Workshop

A basic human right should be access to information as it improves human capability, enriches life and provides independence. As an educator, accessibility begins in design of the content created versus something to fix or correct after. In this session you will learn about the types of accessibility tools for users, how to structure new and existing content for best practices in accessibility and a new tool for Canvas called Ally for assessing your content for the user.
