Fall Learn to Swim Program Registration

Bowling Green State University offers swim lessons for all people, age six months through adult and all skill levels from beginning to advanced, taught by fully certified American Red Cross Water Safety Instructors. The lesson types offered are Small Group (5 - 10), Semi-Private (2 - 3), and Private (one on one). Semi-Private and Private lessons are only available to ages 3 and up. Get Yourself Tested - Free HIV Testing

The testing is confidential, LGBTQ+ affirming, and conducted in a discreet location within the Student Recreation Center. Call 419.372.9355 or stop by the Wellness Connection in the Student Recreation Center to schedule an appointment for a Rapid HIV Test. Walk-ins are welcome. A real name is not needed when making the appointment. What To Expect Upon arriving at the Student Recreation Center: Check in at the Welcome Desk and tell the SRC attendant you have an appointment with the Wellness Connection. Someone can assist you from there. Once in the testing room: Show a valid photo ID: Fill out paperwork and sign forms. Remember, the testing is CONFIDENTIAL, not anonymous, so a real name is associated with your paperwork and test results. Receive the test: Talk about what brought you in for a test. Talk about a "plan of action" to help reduce the risk of HIV in the future. At the end of the session, receive a result. Receive referrals to other agencies/providers, if necessary. Ask any questions or concerns aobut HIV. Fill out the evaluation form.

Gentle Yoga - Move for Your Mood Session

"Goal Setting" is the title of the fourth of six "Success in 6" Workshops hosted by the College of Arts and Sciences. Wondering what GPA is needed to make the Dean's List? At this workshop, gain strategies to make this goal a reality. The "Success in 6" Academic Success Workshops are designed to provide students with an interactive experience to enhance their academic learning. Workshops are organized by topic and designed to meet the damands of college-level academics. Additional workshops are planned Aug. 30, Sept. 5, Sept. 11, Sept. 25 and Oct. 3.
