NEW & TRANSFER STUDENTS | New learning community members select their on-campus room during this time. New students will only be able to select their room if they have completed the following: Online housing application Paid the $200 initial housing payment  Applied and accepted into their community of choice Room selection will begin after noon on March 18 and will close at 9 a.m. on May 1. If a student is a member of a community that does not require them to live in a learning community room, and the student decides they do not want to live with their community, they would follow the standard room selection process. ONLY learning community rooms will be available during this time. There are two different room selection processes that take place for learning community rooms. Are you a multilingual student? Do you want to improve your pronunciation and presentation skills? Then this Friday Workshop Series is for you. The ESOL Program together with the Learning Commons will hold workshops in Spring 2019 to address the most common pronunciation and presentation requests: March 8 (stress and rhythm of English) March 29 (pauses and thought groups) April 12 (intonation) April 26 (fast speech) May 3 (online resources for self-study) All sessions will be at the Learning Commons (Jerome Library, 1st floor), 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. For more information, contact Ana Kryzhanivska.

Get up close with the solar panels and learn about the technology and how the energy is produced and used in Bowling Green. Prior registration is required. The term "transracial" is known by adoptees and scholars to describe the situation when a child of color is adopted into an all-white family. Some Asian American adoptees are working to reclaim their lost cultural background.

Each spring, the senior Master of Fine Arts students in the School of Art have the opportunity to showcase their work at this premier exhibition. These consummate works of the students fill the gallery spaces in the Fine Arts Center for a two-week show. April 27, the opening night, offers an opening reception from 7-9 p.m. in the Galleries.  Admission is free to the exhibition and special events.  

Public Skate sessions are open to general public.  When planning a Public Skating outing, plan to arrive early to avoid a possible wait in line. Participants are expected to obey posted rules and skate guards at all times.  Skate rentals are availble for those who need skates.  Please always check the Public Skate schedule as days and times are subject to change. Falcons After Dark Presents: Tropical Night with UAO Indulge in Tropical themed events this Friday! Surf the waves on a mechanical surf board, hold on while riding the mechanical shark, decorate a ceramic pineapple, and partake in tropical themed free food!   Free for all BGSU students.
