Learning Community Room Selection Takes Place

NEW & TRANSFER STUDENTS | New learning community members select their on-campus room during this time. New students will only be able to select their room if they have completed the following: Online housing application Paid the $200 initial housing payment  Applied and accepted into their community of choice Room selection will begin after noon on March 18 and will close at 9 a.m. on May 1. If a student is a member of a community that does not require them to live in a learning community room, and the student decides they do not want to live with their community, they would follow the standard room selection process. ONLY learning community rooms will be available during this time. There are two different room selection processes that take place for learning community rooms. Stargazing and Hiking: Outdoor Program Trip

Scholarship Celebration

We will celebrate students who have been awarded scholarships. Last year, EDHD awarded nearly $400,000 in scholarship to students. Students may be able to mingle with the donor to their scholarship at lunch and all students and families will be in the Grand Ballroom for an awards ceremony.

10th Annual Community Earth Day Celebration

Firelands PERFECT Dance Marathon

Do you find it difficult to engage in discussions about different viewpoints on certain topics or in certain contexts? Attend the Community Dialogue Series workshops to learn strategies to develop your active listening skills, learn how to engage in civil discourse about controversial topics, and participate in a community dialogue dinner. BGSU students, faculty, staff, and Bowling Green community members are invited to attend these events. The Community Dialogue Dinner will offer the opportunity for participants to engage in dialogue with fellow members of the Bowling Green Community about the opportunities and challenges that the community faces regarding drug, alcohol, and mental health resources and policies, particularly regarding the opioid crisis.
