Learning Community Room Selection Takes Place

NEW & TRANSFER STUDENTS | New learning community members select their on-campus room during this time. New students will only be able to select their room if they have completed the following: Online housing application Paid the $200 initial housing payment  Applied and accepted into their community of choice Room selection will begin after noon on March 18 and will close at 9 a.m. on May 1. If a student is a member of a community that does not require them to live in a learning community room, and the student decides they do not want to live with their community, they would follow the standard room selection process. ONLY learning community rooms will be available during this time. There are two different room selection processes that take place for learning community rooms. This program is available to educators who have an existing P-3 license and need to complete their 4-5 endorsement. You can earn this endorsement this summer ONLINE!  It's affordable and convenient.  Classes May 14 thru August 3. Join local therapy dog celebrity Ty, a Pet Partners certified therapy dog, for a quick de-stress session! Ty, who is about five years old, visits patients every Thursday at Firelands Regional Medical Center's Behavioral Health Services unit. He also makes the rounds in Norwalk's senior center and veterans service office, and visits business offices at Firelands every few weeks. Join Student Engagement, Diversity and Inclusion for a break with Ty!

Free Move For Your Mood Sessions

Free and open to students, staff, and faculty. No experience is required. Come as you are. FIrst-time participants receive a t-shirt (while supplies last) and a voucher to participate in continuing Recreation and Wellness programming.  Exercise boosts mood, reduces depressive symptoms, and improves brain function. Chamber Music Performance at Wood County Public Library

Students from the College of Musical Arts will present a free concert in the atrium at the Wood County Public Library in downtown Bowling Green. These students are all recipients of grants from Pro Musica, which help fund participation in festivals and competitions domestically and internationally. Pro Musica supports the College of Musical Arts by inviting the participation of alumni, friends, parents and the Bowling Green community in a wide variety of musical events and by providing financial support for music students. Global Music Showcase

The spring Global Music Showcase will feature various BGSU world music ensembles in concert. Participating ensembles include the Balkan Choir, Steel Drum Ensemble, and Samba Drum Ensemble.
