The English Department Community Writing Hub is partnering with the Wood County District Public Library and Grounds for Thought to promote a community writing initiative. Between September 2 and October 12, stop by either location and look for the 6-word memoir containers! Contribute your own memoir using one of the provided cards, and your writing can be part of the community memoir collection.

Did you know that BGSU Intramural Sports participants have a higher GPA than non-participants? Get smart and stay fit this fall by registering online now. Sign up as a team with friends, an organization, or a sorority or fraternity. Players may also register as individuals and be placed on a team. A one-time fee permits any student/faculty/staff the opportunity to play any and all intramural sports throughout the academic year or semester. Canvas 101

The Center for Faculty Excellence is offering on-campus Canvas 101 training workshops for faculty. These workshops provide experience with Canvas features including: settings, notifications, assignments, discussions, grading, and quizzes. They include a facilitator lead demonstration of Canvas and its features, a hands-on session, and an open question session. During the hands-on session learners will be asked to demonstrate the skills they have learned during the training. Participants are asked to bring a laptop.

Each organization has to send one (1) organization members, the president or treasure is responsible for attending a training session. More than one representative is welcome to attend, including organization advisors. Training will cover: Student Organization Registration process Budget requests Organization policies and procedures Recruitment and retention of new members And more!
