Learn to Lift with Joe Black Learn how to execute the four main fundamental lifts: Bench Press, Shoulder Press, Squat, and Deadlift. Receive guidance from a Certified Personal Trainer to improve lifting form and confidence in a gym setting. This progressive workshop helps you build relationships and build strength as you work towards your fitness goals.  February 17 - March 11 Monday & Wednesday from 5:30 - 6:30 PM Student Recreation Center, Personal Training Office Fee for 12 sessions: $40 for BGSU Students/SRC Members $60 for BGSU Faculty/Staff/Retiree/Alumni $80 for SRC Non-Members *Registration includes FREE Nike Move For Your Mood shirt! (You will receive this from the trainer)   Women on Weights with Amber Schindler Learn more about designing your own exercise programs based on goals and interests throughout this six-week workshop. Utilize diverse equipment and exercise progressions to learn more about proper exercise execution. Gain exercise science knowledge and confidence in a gym setting. Handshake Pop-Up Workshop

Refer to BGSU's Coronavirus Page for more information.   The testing is confidential, LGBTQ+ affirming, and conducted in a discreet location within the Student Recreation Center. Call 419-372-9355 or stop by the Wellness Connection in the Student Recreation Center to schedule an appointment for a Rapid HIV Test. Walk-ins are welcome. Check in at the Welcome Desk and tell the SRC attendant you have an appointment with the Wellness Connection. Someone can assist you from there. Bring a valid photo ID.

TWIT Laptop Session: Creating Accessible PDFs

  The Digital Pedagogy Collective presents the first T.W.I.T.* session of the spring semester! (*T.W.I.T. stands for Teaching with Instructional Technology.) In this hands-on technology session devoted to creating and uploading accessible PDFs, we’ll look at authoring PDFs in Word, making scanned PDFs more usable and accessible, and we’ll work through the accessibility ratings in Canvas (and how to test use those rankings to see if materials are working for students). Please feel free to bring: 1) your laptop, 2) some scanned PDFs of your own, and 3) any documents or files you are concerned about!   Accessibility is a vital element of our course designs, so let’s try it out together!

To share tools and resources that can be incorporated into courses and learning experiences.
