Intramural Sports Spring Registration II

$40 per player/semester, $60 per player/academic year
Did you know that BGSU Intramural Sports participants have a higher GPA than non-participants? Get smart and stay fit this fall by registering online now. Sign up as a team with friends, an organization, or a sorority or fraternity.  Players may also register as individuals and be placed on a team. A one-time fee permits any student/faculty/staff the opportunity to play any and all intramural sports throughout the academic year or semester. The Ohio Primary Elections are over Spring Break this year!  BGSU Votes will be offering rides to early vote at the Wood County Board of Elections for all faculty, staff, and students registered to vote in Wood County.  Find BGSU Votes at the union tables on March 10th from 9 am - 4 pm to get a free ride.  Rides are a first come, first serve basis.  Ride times may vary. Visit the BGSU Votes website at www.bgsu.edu/bgsuvotes to get information about what's on the ballot and nonpartisan information about candidates and issues.

Active Learning Classroom Technologies Part 2

BGSU’s Active Learning Classrooms (ALC) are specially designed spaces that bring together pedagogy, design elements, and technology to help faculty fully engage students in the pursuit of learning. In order to help faculty make the best use of these classrooms, the CFE is pleased to present an ALC Certificate after completing the 2 part series. Part 2 will demonstrate the ALC technology in the classroom as well as holding discussions on how to meaningfully integrate the technologies and strategies. Please note that the ALC Strategies Part 1 is a prerequisite to ALC Technologies Part 2.

Tuesday Night Screenings: Gas Food Lodging

Gas Food Lodging, directed by Allison Anders, is the featured film for the Tuesday Night Screenings this week. The 1992 inventive indie film explores the lives of the women at roadside diners who provide temporary comfort and distraction. Critics have applauded the film's ingenious multi-thread narrative and its bod but humorous look at sex, family dynamics, racial prejudice and the experience of crossing boundaries.  Free and open to the public.
