Please note: If this is the first year you are attending BGSU full-time, attendance is HIGHLY encouraged. This includes transfer, commuting and international students.
We are taking the jitters out of the first week of classes by introducing new students to their BGSU 1910 course before the semester officially begins.
In this required class session, students who are enrolled in a 1910 course will connect with their Design Coach Instructor and classmates while taking their first steps to engage in the course and learn about academic expectations.
In this life design class, students will learn how to think beyond their major and consider their future career, friends, family, health, finances, purpose and hobbies. Students interested in enrolling in a 1910 course can learn more on the Student Success and Life design website.
How to participate:
This class session will be hosted outside of your fall semester schedule between 2-5 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 23.
Your first class session will only be an hour-long between this time period.
When and where you will meet is determined based on the class you are enrolled in.
You will receive specific information about where and when to meet closer to the event, but you can start looking now by clicking the link below.
Please note: if your 1910 class is not listed on the web page, you are not expected to attend a session.
