The BGSU Career Center will host College to Career Connections: Music on November 29, 2022 from 1:30 - 2:30 PM in Moore Musical Arts Center. This event is for students currently pursuing or interested in pursuing a career in business.

To increase awareness of LGBTQ+ people and issues.

To introduce working definitions of LGBTQ+ terminology, symbols and flags and to clarify misconceptions.
To help clarify understanding of gender identity, gender expression/presentation, sex assigned at birth, sexual and romantic orientations.
To explore topic of social construction of LGBTQ+ identities.
To discover an understanding of heterosexism, homophobia and transphobia.
To learn about local LGBTQ+ resources and sources for continuing education.

The Recovery Support Group is open to all BGSU students who are recovering from a substance use disorder and/or addiction. This space allows for students to express and process their feelings as well as their experiences in living with a substance use disorder and/or addiction. This support group will allow students to build their recovery and social support network on and off campus. This group meets every Tuesday from 4 - 5 p.m. in Eppler 220.
The Counseling Center welcomes all students. We aspire to respect cultural, individual and role differences. Our goal is to create a safe, supportive and affirming climate for individuals of all races, ethnicities, national origins, genders, gender identities, sexual/affectional orientations, religions, ages, abilities, sizes, socioeconomic statuses, languages and cultures.
The Wellness Connection and UTMC HIV Coordinator Danielle Van Fleet will be providing beverages and snacks in a safe space to have open conversation regarding sexual health and the importance of knowing your resources on and off campus. This is an LGBTQ+ affirming spaces. We'll be discuss all things sexual health - not just condoms!
The PAWS team will also be in attendance! There are about 20 million new STD cases each year in the United States. Almost half of these infections happen in people between the ages of 15 to 24. About 1 in 4 college students have/will have an STI.
