The Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) Support Group is open to all BGSU students. This space allows for students to process their feelings and experiences as it relates to their intersecting identities and being at student at BGSU. While the group meets weekly, it is a drop-in group meaning that students can attend as their schedule permits. The Counseling Center welcomes all students. We aspire to respect cultural, individual and role differences. Our goal is to create a safe, supportive and affirming climate for individuals of all races, ethnicities, national origins, genders, gender identities, sexual/affectional orientations, religions, ages, abilities, sizes, socioeconomic statuses, languages and cultures.

Introduction to the Active Learning Classroom

Are you scheduled to teach in an Active Learning Classroom in spring 2023 or interested in learning more about these rooms? The Introduction to Active Learning Classrooms workshop is a 90-minute hands-on experience that will prepare you to successfully use the technology to teach in these spaces. Please note that this workshop is not associated with the Active Learning Certificate program and you will not receive a certificate upon completion.  After the workshop you will be able to: Identify the key physical and technological features of the room that support active learning. Practice using the physical space and technology to implement common active learning strategies. Practice troubleshooting common technological issues. Title IX on the 9th Tie Dye

Join the Office of Title IX and Recreation & Wellness on Wednesday, November 9th for our Title IX on the 9th event! Drop into room 207 in the Bowen-Thompson Student Union anytime from 4-6 PM to tie dye a t-shirt and celebrate 50 years of Title IX.
