55th Annual Competitions in Musical Performance: Preliminary Rounds

Moore Musical Arts Center, Kobacker Hall

The 55th annual competitions in musical performance will take place November 30-December 3, 2022. Preliminary rounds will occur November 30, December 1 and 2 in Kobacker Hall, beginning each day at 9 a.m. The final round of competition will take place December 3 beginning at 10 a.m. in Kobacker. Winners of the competition will be featured soloists with the BG Philharmonia on February 11, 2023.

A tabletop event that explains the detrimental effects of denying personhood to human beings, by adding extra qualifers on top of human life, and how this has led to human rights atrocities in the past such as slavery and the holocaust. The Falcons will take on Western Kentucky in the opening round match at 4:30 p.m. For fans who can’t make it to Lexington, BGSU Athletics will host a watch party at the Stroh Center.

CCCC end-of-the-year party scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 1 from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. in the East Hall lounge on the second floor. Everyone is free to come and go as they please as this is an informal event where you can take a break during the final week of classes. We'll have snacks and pizza and you'll have a chance to reminisce the high points of the semester. We are also creating an international music playlist for the event.
