Spring 2022 ICS Faculty Fellow, Alli Hoag, Glass Area Head and Assistant Professor of Glass at BGSU, along with Catie Newell, Director of Digital and Material Technologies at the University of Michigan, will discuss their work to develop glass modular building units to reconnect the indoors with the outside world. A central focus of this design is to connect human inhabitants to the natural rhythms of light and dark, known as circadian rhythms. In the Focused Falcon Mindfulness Workshops, we explore how to start or expand a mindfulness practice through engaging activities and presentations. You gain skills in stress and anxiety management, handling difficult situations, building self-compassion and a non-judgmental attitude, and improving focus and memory. This FREE 4-week workshop is open to BGSU students, faculty, and staff.  Expanding Your Mindfulness Practice   Do you have experience with mindfulness and are looking to further your practice? In these workshops, we will build upon basic mindfulness skills, to develop and grow your practice. Panelists from across campus will share their life, academic and professional experiences with Life Design students and other attendees. Guests will learn new perspectives, resources and tools that can support them during their time here at BGSU and beyond.    Registration is recommended, but not required.
