Student Org Football Box Ticket Giveaway

BGSU Undergraduate Student Government and the Office of Student Engagement are teaming up to showcase all the good work that the student orgs have done this year with an exciting giveaway! 🙌 Student Orgs can enter this contest for a chance to win tickets to stay in the Student Engagement Football Box for the BGSU Football vs Toledo game on Tuesday, November 14th. Here's how your student org can enter: Create an Instagram Reel telling us about what you do and/or how you have worked to encourage engagement within the BGSU community. You can use fun trends or simply create a highlight reel for your org, creativity is key! Follow both @‌bgsuusg, and @‌engagement_bgsu Tag both @‌bgsuusg, and @‌engagement_bgsu in your reel and use the hashtag #StudentOrgFootballBox. Student Orgs can enter their reel anytime throughout the month of October. The deadline to submit a reel is 11:59 p.m. on October 31. A winner will be chosen by November 8th. Contest reminder: All contest correspondence will always come directly from @engagement_bgsu and @bgsuusg Questions? Spring 2024 Semester Registration

Students will gain access to the registration system based on class standing. Get ready for your registration date by building your shopping cart and completing the steps on the Registration Checklist. Mindful Mondays

This is a great way to start your week with guided mindfulness practice, and other tools to promote mental well-being.  Mondays | 8:30 – 9 AM | August 21 – December 4 No session Sep 4 (Labor Day), Oct 9 (Fall Break) Send questions or comments to Ashley Hartman at ashthom@bgsu.edu and 419-372-4584.  If you are struggling with your mental health contact the Counseling Center. An on-call counselor is available at 419-372-2081 for crisis situations from 8:00 a.m. to 5pm Monday-Friday. You can also utilize the Wood County Crisis Line at 419-502-4673 after Counseling Center business hours. The Crisis Text Line is also available. Text HOME to 741741 for a crisis counselor or text STEVE to 741741 for a culturally competent crisis counselor. You can also text or dial 988 to be connected to a crisis counselor 24/7. BGSU Votes Daily Phone Banking

Serve with BGSU Votes to call fellow BGSU students to make sure they have a voting plan in place for the upcoming General Election taking place on Nov. 7th. As a volunteer you will receive training and a script to conduct nonpartisan educational calls to empower students to become civically engaged in our democracy! Check-in at the C. Raymond Marvin Center for Student Leadership and Civic Engagement, 100 University Hall.

Let's Talk is a free and confidential service available to BGSU students. Students can meet for a brief, informal, 15 minute consultation with BGSU Counseling Center staff that do not take the place of therapy. Let's Talk consultations are not appropriate for urgent concerns or mental health emergencies. During this consultation, BGSU clinicians will listen to your concerns, offer support, information and resources.

Tree Planting Project for October 30!

Visitor Information Center

Come help us plant trees on campus in celebration of Campus Sustainability Week!  We'll train you and provide all tools needed as well as inspiration!  Trees remove carbon dioxide and produce oxygen as well as providing animal habitat, drainage assistance, and much more.  And they're long-lasting, beautiful addition to campus that you can visit year after year! Registration on the BGSUServes platform is mandatory for participation in this event.
