Do you have questions about the BGP assessment process? BGP, a comprehensive general education program, provides a University-wide assessment of student learning at BGSU. Dr. Douglas Forsyth of the Department of History at BGSU will present on how teachers can use their own experiences with family history to inform their teaching. Touching on the implications of expanded access to genealogy research tools like Ancestry and FamilySearch, Dr. Forsyth will discuss how the personal experience of discovering difficult truths about ancestors can inform classroom practice.   This lecture will be presented on Friday, Nov. 17 in the Robert W. and Patricia A. Mauer Center 104 at 4 p.m..    This lecture is free and open to the public.

She relies solely on a microphone and spotlight to entertain crowds with her classic stand-up comedy. Her talent has earned her the title of Campus Activities Magazine's Female Performer of the Year, having performed at 1,000 colleges across the United States.
