Our Final Exam Review Week event is from Nov. 27 to Dec. 1. Our dedicated tutors in The Teaching and Learning Center at 230N (second floor across from the computer lab) at BGSU Firelands will provide subject-specific support, and we might be adding some tasty treats to keep you fueled! Visit during normal business hours to prepare for finals!

  Workshop Facilitator: Jessica Turos, Associate Director of Academic Assessment  Workshop Categories: Support, Engagement, Feedback & Assessment    Are you teaching a Bowling Green Perspective (BGP) course? Do you have questions about the BGP assessment process? BGP, a comprehensive general education program, provides a University-wide assessment of student learning at BGSU. This virtual session will review the BGP learning outcomes assessment process, demonstrate the steps for using Canvas to submit BGP assessment data, and discuss best practices and lessons learned from the general education assessment process.     In this workshop, you will learn how to:  Import learning outcomes, assessment, and rubric from the BGP Canvas course template into your BGP Canvas course   Submit BGP assessment data via Canvas  Identify general education assessment best practices    To register for this workshop, use the Fall 2023 CFE Workshop Registration Form.    Advance registration is required. Registration will close one business day before the scheduled event.    You will receive the Zoom link after registering for the event.    To find out more information about this workshop, visit the Workshop Catalog page of the CFE Website.  If you have any questions about this event, email the CFE at cfe@bgsu.edu

Let's Talk is a free and confidential service available to BGSU students. Students can meet for a brief, informal, 15 minute consultation with BGSU Counseling Center staff that do not take the place of therapy. Let's Talk consultations are not appropriate for urgent concerns or mental health emergencies. During this consultation, BGSU clinicians will listen to your concerns, offer support, information and resources.

The Learning Commons and Recreation and Wellness have teamed up to bring you a two-hour Study Power Hour event, and we've got some surprises in store to help you stay focused and relaxed. Study for 25 minutes, take a 5 minute break, and repeat until the two hours are up. RecWell is providing the study break activities, and the Learning Commons will supply dinner for all attendees.
