Recreation and Wellness is offering its ten individual, week-long themed camps for Kindergarten through 6th grade (ages 5 – 12) from June 5 – August 11. BGSU Kids Camp programming is a rec-based program emphasizing fun experiences that empower physical, emotional, social, and intellectual growth, along with promoting a healthy lifestyle. Campers enjoy activities including arts and crafts, field trips to various facilities throughout the BGSU campus, ice skating, rock climbing, sports, swimming, and more! This week, campers explore new areas and cultures by ‘traveling’ the world! Activities include a trip to the BGSU Teaching Kitchen to prepare snacks from various cultures, an outing to the Toledo Mud Hens stadium for a baseball game, and crafting their own passports. Drop-in skating sessions open to the public lasting 50-minutes to an hour.  Participants encouraged to pre-register online, but can also drop-in to sign up and pay in person.  No age or skill level requirement.  All skaters expected to obey session rules and skate guards.  Skate rental available for those in need.
