Workshop Category: Scholarship
Are you interested in advancing your research and scholarship? We warmly invite you to join us at the CFE’s on-site writing session on Thursday, Sept. 28.
This session is designed to provide BGSU faculty, staff and graduate students with an opportunity to connect with colleagues, boost their research productivity and get some writing done. At the beginning of the session, participants will have an opportunity to network with each other and set their specific writing goals. Next, we will set a timer for one hour. During this period, participants will write and work quietly on their own research projects. At the end of the session, participants will complete a brief wrap-up activity and receive information about additional resources that aim to boost their research productivity.
This Write On-Site session is designed to boost BGSU academics’ research productivity while providing additional layers of accountability, support and connection.
By completing this session, participants should be able to:
Identify specific and attainable writing goals
Advance their research by completing a 1-hour writing session
Connect with BGSU colleagues who share their interest in boosting their research productivity
Identify at least five resources that can continue to support their research and writing
To make the most of this session, we ask participants to bring their own laptops and/or writing materials.
To register for this event, use the Fall 2023 CFE Workshop Registration Form.
Advance registration is required. Registration will close one business day before the scheduled event.
To find out more information about this workshop, visit the Workshop Catalog page of the CFE Website.
If you have any questions about this event, email the CFE at cfe@bgsu.edu

Students can meet for a brief, informal, 15 minute consultation with BGSU Counseling Center staff that do not take the place of therapy. Let's Talk consultations are not appropriate for urgent concerns or mental health emergencies. During this consultation, BGSU clinicians will listen to your concerns, offer support, information and resources.
