During Suicide Prevention Awareness Month in September, take our #BeThe1To challenge!  Visit https://www.bgsu.edu/counseling-center/services/BeThe1To.html watch the five videos, and take a short evaluation based on information in the videos here.  BGSU students, faculty, and staff who complete the evaluation will be entered into a raffle to win 2023's Counseling Center t-shirt designed by a BGSU student! 10 shirts will be raffled off in October.

BGSU uses Curriculog, a curriculum management software, for all curriculum proposals, from course changes to brand-new degree programs. Curriculog is integrated with our academic catalogs and other key university systems to allow for a more streamlined, transparent, and traceable process. Attend to learn about the new application and ask questions to the Curriculog Project Team.  These training sessions are separated by colleges and support offices. Help spread the Green Dot message by joining our Chalk the Walk and hang out with members of the PAWS team Friday, Sept. 29 Noon-2 p.m. Meet outside of Hayes Hall near the BGSU letters   Chalk the Walk with PAWS is part of Green Dot Week, the campus-wide initiative to reduce power-based personal violence and address other social issues that impede progress toward safe and equitable communities. We believe all individuals are capable of positive action and collectively mobilizing a force powerful enough to create lasting societal change. Through Green Dot Week and the Green Dot Bystander Intervention Training offered through the GVPES, we aim to accelerate individual impact by inspiring hope for change, providing realistic tools to act and helping overcome personal, relational and cultural barriers.

Join us for an immersive workshop where you'll learn how to utilize our video recording studio. Through hands-on experience you'll learn how to operate the video camera, lighting kit and microphone, empowering you to deliver engaging and visually appealing instructional videos.    You'll have the opportunity to work directly with the equipment, experiment with different setups and record a video session using the video recording studio.
