  This 30 year+ campus tradition, calls together our community for a harvest-inspired meal and shelf stable, non-perishable goods drive! This meal will feature turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and a vegetable.       The Clark Inclusive Scholars Program at BGSU Firelands College invites you to attend an informative and interactive Assistive Technologies workshop on Thursday, 11/14 in North Building 163. Before and after presentations, the Wood County Board of Developmental Disabilities will provide tech devices for attendees to try out. Beginning at 4:00, presenters from n2y & TextHelp, The University of Akron’s School of Education, and the Ohio Tech Ambassadors Network will share ways that supportive technologies enhance lives and independence for people with developmental disabilities. Anyone who might benefit from assistive technologies is welcome to attend and bring their questions for our presenters.

Terese Schlachter: A 1985 BGSU alum and author of Finding Waypoints, she began her career at Channel 13 in Toledo and later worked with MSNBC, NBC News, and the Pentagon, earning three Emmys for her coverage of war-wounded veterans. Now, she runs her own consulting firm, Ridgeback Communications.
