Spring Move-In Time Sign-Up

Sign Up for a Spring Move-In Time If you are going to be moving to BGSU for the first time in January, WELCOME! And if you are a returning student to campus, we hope you enjoyed your winter break! Sign-up for Spring Move-In times opens Tuesday, Nov. 12 and closes Friday, Dec. 13.  Just like Fall Move-In students are required to sign up for a move-in appointment, even if you already moved into your room in the fall semester. Spring Move-In will occur Friday, Jan. 10 through Sunday, Jan. 12. The Office of Student Housing will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. Students will sign up for their Move-In Time starting on Tuesday, Nov. 12 and details regarding the sign-up process and dates will be emailed to students' BGSU email accounts the week prior. "Let's Talk" - Free drop-in counseling consultations

"Let's Talk" is a free and confidential service available to all BGSU students. Students can meet for a brief, informal, 15-minute consultation with BGSU Counseling Center staff. They can listen to specific problems, help explore solutions and introduce you to what it’s like to speak with a member of the staff.  Please note: "Let's Talk" does not take the place of therapy, and consultations are not appropriate for urgent concerns or mental health emergencies. This session will cover descriptive and inferential statistics. From summarizing data with measures like means and standard deviations to hypothesis testing and various regression analyses, you will learn essential techniques for extracting insights from datasets. Whether you are a novice or seasoned analyst, this session offers practical skills to elevate your statistical proficiency. Getting Started with Canvas New Quizzes

New Quizzes is an updated assessment engine that integrates with Canvas and replaces the Classic Quizzes functionality. You will explore new question types such as Categorization, Ordering, and Hot Spots as well as discuss how to manage item banks. You will have an opportunity to create questions in an item bank in one of your Canvas courses and utilize the item bank in a quiz.  In this session, you will:  Identify question types.   Explore what the student sees when taking a quiz.   Discuss how to moderate exams for accessibility.   Create and utilize a New Quiz item bank.   To register for this event, use the Fall 2024 CFE-Facilitated Session Registration Form.  Advance registration is required. Learn to Skate Fall II|Monday

Learn to Skate lessons offered to ages three through adult, including beginner to advanced skill levels.  Programming introduces the wide range of skating opportunities from figure skating and hockey to recreational skating.  Additional opportunities available based on skating skill and interest. Sport helmet required.
