Returning Fall Housing Application

2024-25 returning Student Housing and Meal Plan Application is open now through March 10!  This may not be your first time going through the Housing Selection Process, but we have been doing this for years. Let us guide you so all you have to worry about is how you are going to accessorize your new space and all the new friends you are going to make next year. Returning students who have not lived on campus for two years (four semesters) as of the 2025 Fall semester are required to live on campus unless you meet one of our housing exemptions. Do you know what residence halls are available for Returning Students? Make sure you check out all the available halls for you. "Let's Talk" - Free drop-in counseling consultations

"Let's Talk" is a free and confidential service available to all BGSU students. Students can meet for a brief, informal, 15-minute consultation with BGSU Counseling Center staff. They can listen to specific problems, help explore solutions and introduce you to what it’s like to speak with a member of the staff.  Please note: "Let's Talk" does not take the place of therapy, and consultations are not appropriate for urgent concerns or mental health emergencies.   The Teaching and Learning Center is proud to present Student Success Rush Week, a series of engaging events designed to support students as they prepare for final exams. Rush Week will run from Monday, Dec. 2, to Friday, Dec. 6, with daily activities scheduled between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. within the Teaching and Learning Center in North Building on the Firelands campus.    Here’s what’s happening: Mathematics Support Day (Monday, Dec. 2) Discover helpful math tips and tricks with "Short-Cake Short Cuts." Tutor Engagement Day (Tuesday, Dec. 3) Take part in a fun scavenger hunt for prizes and enjoy nachos. Writing Workshop Day (Wednesday, Dec. 4) Participate in writing workshops and enjoy donuts and apple cider. Academic Coaching Day (Thursday, Dec. 5) Challenge yourself in Puzzle Wars and snack on pretzels. Relaxation and Reflection Day (Friday, Dec. 6) Unwind with chips and a calm environment to wrap up the week.

Yoga as You Are

Music at the Forefront: Carl Stone

MACCM presents computer music innovator Carl Stone as part of Music at the Forefront! Carl Stone is one of the pioneers of live computer music, and has used computers in live performance since 1986. He has been hailed by the Village Voice as “the king of sampling.” and “one of the best composers living in (the USA) today.”. RELIX has written that “Stone makes music that can hit your ear holes like a DMT flash.” He was born in California and now divides his time between LA and Japan. He studied composition at the California Institute of the Arts with Morton Subotnick and James Tenney and has composed electro-acoustic music almost exclusively since 1972. His works have been performed in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Asia, Australia, South America and the Near East. In addition to his schedule of performance, composition and touring, he is the emeritus professor in the Department of Media Engineering at Chukyo University in Japan.
