Whether you decide to shave your head, volunteer or donate, we hope you'll be a part of the excitement. Because of YOUR involvement with this annual fundraising event for the St. Baldrick's Foundation, you'll be giving hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers! What is the St. Bladricks Foundation? The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a charitable organization founded in 2000 to raise funding for childhood cancer research. Events are held at the local level where volunteers, sponsored by family and friends, raise money to shave their heads. By shaving their heads, these volunteers are standing in solidarity with children who often lose their hair as part of their cancer treatment.

  At a rural high school in Georgia, a group of lively teens are studying “The Crucible” while navigating young love, sex ed, and a few school scandals. Holding a contemporary lens to the American classic, they begin to question, who is really the hero? And what is the truth? They discover their own power in the process. Alternately touching and bitingly funny, this new comedy captures a generation in mid-transformation, running on pop music, optimism, and fury, writing their own coming of age story.  (Dramatist Play Service)

For our youngest visitors, “One World, One Sky” uses Sesame Street’s Big Bird and Elmo to delightfully teach about the Sun, Moon, stars, and constellations.

Praecepta, the student chapter of the Society of Composers, Inc., promotes new music activities in the Bowling Green community. This event is free and open to the public.  

  Mysterious dark matter seems to vastly outweigh the visible matter we can see in the Universe.  What is dark matter and how do we learn about this puzzling component of the Universe? “Phantom of the Universe - The Hunt for Dark Matter” explores these questions and showcases the search for the nature of dark matter using the Large Hadron Collider at CERN.  This full dome video show is most suitable for ages 13 and up.   Public stargazing will follow the Sunday 7:30pm programs on clear evenings.
