Welcome families! We are excited about your arrival. Please follow these steps to check in when you arrive: We ask for families to register for family weekend so we can a count of how many guests we will have on campus to help us plan our events and communicate relevant information for the weekend. If you've registered, closer to the event date, a QR code will be sent to your email—simply pull it up, and we’ll get you checked in! Check-in will take place in the Bowen-Thompson Student Union Multipurpose Room from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 17 and 9-11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 18.  At check-in, you will be greeted by BGSU staff, who will be able to answer any questions you have about Family Weekend. You will also receive the following: Pick up limited event tickets – if available Grab the Falcon Family Calendar expansion pack, with resource reminders and stickers to help you customize your calendar. The Bowling Green State University planetarium is a 114-seat public science theater serving BGSU students, area schools, and the public of northwest Ohio. The full video planetarium SciDome system projects and fills our 40-foot dome with video that immerses visitors in the cosmos and shows the sky from any place on Earth at any time. During Family Weekend the Planetarium will be showing "The Edge of Darkness"  Come explore the Universe at the BGSU Planetarium with the show EDGE OF DARKNESS.  The New Horizons mission returned spectacular pictures of faraway Pluto in 2015 and at the same time the Dawn mission sent home spectacular images of the asteroid Vesta and dwarf planet Ceres.  See the interesting landscapes of these dark and distant worlds. If you’re interested in attending a planetarium showing, be sure to come to check in on Friday or Saturday to claim your free ticket.
