Hands-On with Sage Skills: Exploring Digital Resources for Academic and Workplace Success

Mon, Nov 17, 2025 10am to 11am

Virtual Event

In this interactive session, you’ll dive into the Sage Skills Business and Student Success portals—digital resources designed to help students build the workplace and academic skills they need to succeed at the university and beyond. After a guided overview of the resources, you’ll explore module content on your own, then come together to share your impressions with the group. Finally, we’ll collaborate to brainstorm practical ways these resources could be used in your courses, programs, or co-curricular activities at BGSU.  Why you should attend: Explain the features and purpose of the Sage Skills Business and Student Success portals.  Evaluate the usefulness of learning modules for the courses you teach or your work with students outside of the classroom.  Describe a scenario in which you could apply module content in your work at BGSU.   Identify potential campus-wide curricular and co-curricular uses for the Sage Skills interactive digital resources.  To register for this event, use the Fall 2025 University Libraries CFE Session Registration Form.  Advance registration is required. Registration will close one business day before the scheduled event. You will receive the Zoom link one day before the event.  For more information on this event, visit the Session Catalog page of the Center for Faculty Excellence (CFE) website.    If you need special services, assistance or appropriate modifications to fully participate in the event, please contact the CFE office or Accessibility Services at access@bgsu.edu or 419-372-8495.
