Constitution Week: Celebration

Celebrate Constitution Day at BGSU. This is one of many in a weeklong event series designed to bring students, faculty and community members together to learn, connect and celebrate one of the nation’s most important documents. What is happening at the Constitution Day Celebration?  Free Pocket-Sized Constitutions: Take home your own copy of the U.S. Constitution, perfect for study, reference or as a keepsake. Constitution Trivia: Test your knowledge of American history, government and civil rights for a chance to show off your skills. Engaging and Fun: Learn more about the Constitution in an interactive way while connecting with others interested in civic engagement. Why It Matters Constitution Day is a national celebration of the signing of the U.S. Constitution in 1787. By attending, you’ll deepen your understanding of American democracy, civic leadership and public policy while enjoying a lively campus event. Whether you’re heading to class, passing through campus or just hanging out, swing by the BTSU Oval for a Constitution Day kickoff hosted by the Department of Political Science, the Democracy and Public Policy Research Network and the C. When you’re constantly busy and balancing many responsibilities, creating a plan to achieve your personal and professional goals can seem overwhelming. This session is designed to empower you to explore ways to find harmony between well-being and productivity. During the session, you will set meaningful goals, break down goals into projects and actionable steps, add projects to a calendar, and identify accountability strategies and support networks to help you achieve your goals.  Why you should attend: Articulate 2–3 specific professional and personal goals for the upcoming semester. Draft a detailed action plan to break down your goals into actionable steps.  Identify strategies and support networks to help you achieve your goals. This session is part of the Thrive@BGSU session series, designed to support new and early-career faculty.  To register for this event, use the Fall 2026 Thrive@BGSU CFE Session Registration Form Advance registration is required. Registration will close one business day before the scheduled event.
