Following President Rogers' Family Weekend Football Tailgate at 1:30 p.m., cheer on the BGSU Football team as they take on Kent State at home on Saturday, Oct. 19. This game is a part of BGSU's Falcon Family Weekend. During the football game, we'll recognize the 2024 Hall of Fame Class, inducted at the BGSU Athletics Hall of Fame Ceremony on Friday, Oct. 18. BGSU students are invited to a student tailgate prior to the Falcon Football home opener. Join us at Falcon Tailgate Park near the south end of Doyt L. Perry Stadium. Free food and beverages to the first 700 BGSU students. After the tailgate, join us at 7 p.m. as BGSU faces off against Fordham at Doyt L. Perry Stadium! BGSU students receive free admission into all home athletic events. Join us for a large-scale watch party on the Bowling Green campus during the hours before and after the three minutes of totality. This family-friendly event will include a variety of fun and educational activities, demonstrations, music, telescope viewing, food and more! Solar eclipse glasses will be provided for safe viewing, free of charge, for all in attendance. In the weeks preceding the eclipse, free eclipse glasses will also be available for all BGSU students, faculty and staff. Gates open at noon.
