Please join us for the 2023 Gary R. Hess Lecture in Policy History on Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2023, from 4-5:15pm in the Bowen-Thompson Student Union (BTSU), Room 206, with a small reception to follow. 

Dr. Melvyn P. Leffler, of the University of Virginia, will speak on his recent book, "Confronting Saddam Hussein: George W. Bush and the Invasion of Iraq."

This lecture is free and open to the public. No reservation is required.

The Gary R. Hess Lecture in Policy History is an annual distinguished lecture initiated by Dr. Hess's former students to honor his 45 years of teaching, scholarship and service to BGSU. This lecture is presented by the Department of History with support from the International Studies Program.
