November 14, 2018 from 12-1 pm the Office of Multicultural Affairs will have an Abstract Writing Workshop in 407 BTSU. Many conferences (including the Black Issues Conference, the Latino Issues Conference, and Ray Browne Conference at BGSU) require abstract proposals. Abstracts are generally paragraphs with a word limit that give the essence of your presentation for a conference. They are sometimes used for marketing the conference as well. At this workshop, you will:
•Learn how to write a strong abstract
•Increase your likelihood to get accepted for conference
•Improve your research and writing skills
