Having trouble crafting your abstract? Attend the upcoming abstract workshop: How to Write an Abstract in English facilitated by Trinidad Linares from 11:30 am to 1:20 pm in BTSU 407 on December 5th. This is available to all those interested in submitting for any conference. Proposals for the Latino/a/x Issues Conference are due December 7, 2018. Proposals for the Black Issues Conference are due December 14, 2018.

Abstracts are generally paragraphs with a word limit that give the essence of your presentation for a conference. They are sometimes used for marketing the conference as well.  At this workshop, you will:

•Learn how to write a strong abstract
•Increase your likelihood to get accepted for a conference
•Improve your research and writing skills
Feel free to bring an abstract or a paper you are working on to this event. Please email Trinidad Linares at tlinare@bgsu.edu with any questions.
