Being part of a community will be a presentation titled "The Science of Alcohol and Marijuana." This presentation, hosted by special guest Jason Kilmer, Ph.D., is designed to provide students with an opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions about alcohol and marijuana. These two important issues can significantly impact student life.

Dr. Kilmer is an Associate Professor at the University of Washington with more than 20 years of experience conducting research on substance abuse etiology and prevention with high school students, college students and young adults.

Content warning: Alcohol, Marijuana and Title IX will be discussed.

Up Next: Being Part of a Community is part of the required program series for first-year students. After the presentation, all new students are invited to the Cookout with the President.
