Join BGSU Firelands for a four-day immersive STEM experience designed for students entering grades 6–8. Participants will conduct hands-on experiments in real laboratory spaces, engage in interactive engineering and design challenges, and explore materials science, sustainability, recycling, and advanced manufacturing.

Students will work alongside BGSU Firelands faculty and STEM professionals while discovering how science connects to future careers and innovation.

Students will:

WHY DID THE CAMP DATES CHANGE?

To ensure the highest-quality experience for participants, the Science and Materials Innovation Academy has been rescheduled to July 28–31, 2026. This adjustment allows us to deliver the full program as designed, including all planned hands-on activities and instructional experiences.
