On February 19, 2020, 4 undergraduate students will perform contemporary
music written for the cello and Chris Gross will offer suggestions on
how to more effectively master the techniques in the pieces and how to
achieve a deeper understanding of the music. The following day, on
February 20th, Mr. Gross will present a recital of contemporary cello
music, including some works from the “Cello Solos Today” collection
along with masterpieces of the contemporary cello literature.
