Camtasia is a powerful application that allows you to record your screen, create and share dynamic videos. You can use Camtasia to record PowerPoint lectures, Canvas course introductions, homework reviews, and other custom videos that are tailored around your course content. You will get hands-on experience by producing and editing a video and integrating it into your Canvas course.

In this workshop, you will learn how to:

• Compare and contrast BGSU approved screen capture software
• Produce a screen capture recording using Camtasia
• Edit the video using Camtasia
• Integrate your video into your Canvas course

Requirements: Camtasia installed on a laptop.

Note: While this workshop is open to all members of the BGSU teaching community, only Faculty can request Camtasia from ITS using the University Device Software Installation Request.
