Making course materials easy for students to access can save time, reduce frustration, and support learning—but not all links work the way you might expect! In this session, we’ll cover best practices for integrating BGSU Libraries resources into your Canvas courses and syllabi.  You'll learn how to share durable links that reliably connect students to online resources and how to embed objects into Canvas. We’ll also explore the new library search interface during this session.

Why you should attend:

  • Identify persistent links for sharing BGSU-provided library resources.
  • Explain the purpose of a proxied link and when to use one.
  • Construct a proxied link for a BGSU library resource to ensure off-campus access for students.
  • Embed an EBSCO e-Book into a Canvas course.
  • Navigate the new BGSU library search interface to locate and share course materials.
