Join us for the 2025 Women's History Month Public Lecture, presented by the Department of History at BGSU. 

Dr. Tracey Hanshew, of Eastern Oregon University, will present her research on rural women in the American West. Dr. Hanshew will explore the iconic cowgirl image and its significant roles within the Western genre. This topic will resonate with enthusiasts of popular culture, sports, performance, feminism and American history alike.
