BGSU faculty had to quickly transition to remote learning over the past year. While transitioning many faculty have decided to implement videos within their courses. Often times instructors may find that participation is low in synchronous lectures and are looking to find more efficient ways to engage students in their subject matter. In this workshop instructors will be able to define what microlearning videos are and the benefits of producing this type of video, discuss the steps and best practices involved in creating microlearning videos and be able to determine what platform is best to host videos while keeping in mind best practices for accessibility.
