We invite you to a Day of Dialogue, an annual opportunity for BGSU to discuss our responsibility as a public university for the public good.
This year’s event will feature discussions with elected officials, government leaders, government affairs professionals, and members of the BGSU community, including students, faculty, staff, alumni and the broader public. Together, we will listen, learn, and work toward changing the culture of democratic engagement in the United States.
Free and open to the public. Lunch provided with RSVP.

We invite you to a Day of Dialogue, an annual opportunity for BGSU to discuss our responsibility as a public university for the public good.
In recognition of the 250th anniversary of American democracy, this year’s event will explore the foundation of our democracy, how our democratic values have evolved, and how we can strengthen them moving forward.
The program will feature discussions with elected officials, government leaders, government affairs professionals, and members of the BGSU community, including students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the broader public. Together, we will listen, learn, and embrace the culture of democratic engagement in the United States.
Free and open to the public. Lunch provided with RSVP. Attend as you are able.

Day of Dialogue is designed for you to come and go throughout the day. Attend sessions that interest you and reserve your spot for a complimentary luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. with an advance RSVP.

*RSVP will be required for the lunch session.
The luncheon featuring Sharon L. Kennedy, Chief Justice of the Ohio Supreme Court, and Jennifer Brunner, Justice of the Ohio Supreme Court, is part of the 2026 Day of Dialogue.
Registration is required for the luncheon only. (11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.) All other Day of Dialogue panels are free, open to the public, and do not require registration. Space for the luncheon is limited; please register as seats are guaranteed on a first come, first serve basis.
