At BGSU, architecture involves the study of the nature of materials, tectonics, history, aesthetics, physiology and psychology as well as to study the culture of space and the geometries of use. Architecture at BGSU is about relational networks; about structures both visible and invisible in the conjunction with an entrepreneurial spirit.

For students interested in architecture, here at BGSU you can have the opportunity to pursue a degree in the following areas of study:

exhibition design,
stage design,
environmental design,
space planning,
information design,
and virtual space design.

BGSU offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture that is designed to build an exceptional educational experience over four years for incoming students. BGSU allows for you to have a broad and deep foundation of knowledge in architecture along with the sciences, arts and technology. This undergraduate degree is a pre-professional program which focuses on a well-rounded course selection, ranging from design studios to history to building systems. students will also become knowledgeable in how their degree relates to urban design, interior architecture, sustainability and the environment.
