BGSU will mark Extra Yard for Teachers Week during its Homecoming football game with a special recognition for teachers in attendance. 

Extra Yard for Teachers Week is a nationwide celebration of teachers, led by College Football Playoff Foundation, that uses the platform of college football to show appreciation of educators in communities across the country. 

Teachers are able to purchase discounted tickets to the Homecoming football game, where they will be asked to stand and be recognized during the game as part of a special presentation. 

We invite all area teachers and alumni working in education to join us Homecoming weekend as we add yet another reason to celebrate.
