Gish Film Theater Grand Re-opening

Friday, March 29 at 6:00pm

Bowen-Thompson Student Union, 206 (Theater)
Bowen-Thompson Student Union 1001 E Wooster St , Bowling Green, OH 43402

A special evening is planned to celebrate the re-opening of the Gish Film Theater–the newly renovated cinema now located in 206 Bowen-Thompson Student Union. The original Gish Film Theater in Hanna Hall was dedicated in 1976 to honor the achievements of Ohio natives Dorothy and Lillian Gish, renowned actresses of the stage and screen.

The evening will include a reception and a special appearance by BGSU alumna and Academy Award-winning actress Eva Marie Saint, who appeared with Lillian Gish in the classic television movie, The Trip to Bountiful. The event is free; however, because there is limited seating in the theater, tickets are required and available at bgsu.edu/arts.

The reception will start at 6 p.m. followed by the program at 7 p.m.
