This year the Graduate Student Senate will sponsor the 13th annual Charles E. Shanklin Colloquium named in memory of the late Charles E. Shanklin on April 5, 2023. The Charles E. Shanklin Colloquium will highlight the significant research and efforts of graduate students here at BGSU.

Graduate students participating in the Research Panels have submitted an abstract of their completed or ongoing research, and are invited to present during the colloquium. Students are vying for the Shanklin Research Abstract Award. Throughout this portion of the event, there will be three concurrent panels happening in Bowen-Thompson Student Union, rooms 314, 315, and 315. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided. 

All students (undergraduate and graduate), faculty, and staff are invited to this event. This is a great way to learn about a variety of research topics, as well as see all the work being done by graduate students. You do not need to attend for the full time.
