About this Event
715 E. Leroy, College Park Office Building Room 104
The Grief and Loss Support Group meets weekly during the semester for an hour and half on a designated day and time and is open to all BGSU students. This group is designed to be a safe space to express and process any feelings or experiences of grief and loss in one’s life. Grief is a natural reaction to loss or change. Grief is most often discussed in relation to the death of a loved one, however grief can be experienced following any major change. While the group meets weekly, it is a drop-in group meaning that students can attend as their schedule permits.
The Counseling Center welcomes all students. We aspire to respect cultural, individual and role differences. Our goal is to create a safe, supportive and affirming climate for individuals of all races, ethnicities, national origins, genders, gender identities, sexual/affectional orientations, religions, ages, abilities, sizes, socioeconomic statuses, languages and cultures.
