Jazz and the Civil Rights Movement

Galen Abdur-Razzaq will discuss and perform jazz pieces by known jazz artists to provide an
understanding and appreciation of jazz, its historical significance, and its role in the 
peaceful existence of man kind.

Abdur-Razzaq’s intellectually stimulating lectures and powerful jazz performances make him
one of the most popular artists on university and college campuses in the country.
