Future of Leadership: The Role of Power, Equity and Design with Antionette Carroll

Join the BGSU Institute for the Study of Culture and Society and the BGSU School of Art in welcoming Antionette Carroll, an internationally recognized graphic designer, community activist, public speaker, and entrepreneur. 

In this public lecture, Carroll will introduce the principles of Equity-Centered Community Design. She will discuss her work as the Founder and CEO of Creative Reaction Lab, a non-profit, youth-led, community-centered social impact design collaborative, to demonstrate how graphic design can be utilized as a vital tool in redesigning entire communities and cities to be more racially diverse, inclusive, and equitable.

Bowling Green State University (BGSU) has built their website around the Standards of the World Wide Web Consortium’s (W3C) Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML) 5 and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).  The website was built in compliance with the accessibility standards established by section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act and detailed in section 1194.22 of the Code of Federal Regulations, “Web-based intranet and internet information and applications” (https://www.section508.gov/).
