Please join the Center for Archival Collections at Bowling Green State University as we recognize the 2017 winner of the Local History Publication Award with a lecture by the author Dan Masters.

Scouring the Pages:
How Correspondent '76' told the story of the 72nd Ohio Infantry

Dan Masters is graduate of the University of Toledo with a Bachelor's degree in Communications, and is currently enrolled at BGSU pursuing a graduate degree in American History. He has actively engaged in Civil War research for 19 years and has published four books and a dozen articles regarding military history with a focus on the Civil War, World War II, and civil defense. He has worked as a volunteer for both the Center for Archival Collections at BGSU and at the American Civil War Museum of Ohio in Tiffin. He currently works as a Production Planning Manager for Materion Corporation in Elmore, Ohio.
