Throughout the country, MLK Day is often viewed as a day "off" from school or work, as many businesses and institutions close for the day. For the past 14 years, BGSU and the Marvin Center have worked to make MLK Day a "day on, not a day off" by getting more and more students, faculty and staff involved in civic engagement.
